昨日从市自来水公司获悉，涡北地表水厂正在进行水源置换，即将正式投入使用。这意味着包括涡北区域在内的主城区居民将全部告别地下水，喝上优质引调水。
我市长期以地下水为水源，深受氟化物、钠离子等指标超标问题困扰。近年来，我市实施了替代水源工程建设。2020年，“引江济淮”亳州调蓄水库、城南地表水厂先后建成并供水，亳州主城区涡南片区已全面实现地表水对地下水的水源置换。而涡北区域群众饮水主要依靠原涡北水厂，水源为地下水。
为进一步提高涡北区域供水质量，满足区域群众用水需求，作为市政府重点民生工程项目的涡北地表水厂，于2022年启动建设。
据悉，由中建安装集团有限公司建设的涡北地表水厂占地面积51.941亩，设计日供水规模5万吨，项目总投资1.8亿元。建设内容主要包括地表水厂厂区建设、输配水管网改造及连接、供电线路敷设及增容、二级泵房改造等。
该水厂采用“引江济淮”水库水源，制水工艺采用“预处理+常规处理+深度处理”，利用预臭氧达到杀藻、除臭效果，同时利用砂滤池、活性炭去除水中的有机污染物，提高饮用水的口感。正式投用后，主城区将全部使用地表水作为供水水源，不但彻底解决饮用水氟化物、钠离子等指标超标问题，对保护地下水资源、优化区域水资源配置也起到重要作用。
涡北地表水厂正式投入使用后，地下水源将转为备用水源。
市自来水公司有关负责人表示，水源置换期间，由于地表水源与地下水消毒处理工艺不同，更换水源后的自来水口感、气味较以往可能略有差异，但水质完全符合国家《生活饮用水卫生标准》，市自来水公司将严格按照《城市供水水质标准》要求的检测内容和频次，对出厂水质进行检测，确保供水安全。市民可以放心使用。
